![]() Go for enterprise/business laptop lines offered by HP, Dell, or Lenovo. No matter how nice the specs look, whatever gimmicks they've packed into it, whatever 360 degree touch screen bullshit they pack in, just stay the fuck away. #Best business laptops 2018 reddit windowsThat being said, if youre looking at something in the Windows world like I usually am, I would completely avoid any consumer trash altogether whether it be Dell, Asus, HP, MSI, Acer, etc., never, ever, EVER, buy anything consumer. If something fucks up, you walk to the nearest Apple store and theyll usually handle it (I hear horror stories from people on the web about Apple refusing to fix it, but everyone I know irl has nothing but good things to say). ![]() Windows is the wild west, you gamble with everything you buy, and many issues are difficult to anticipate (would you anticipate a DPC watchdog error which arose 3 months in like I did? No reviews will catch something like this of course.) Apple is the best well rounded, reliable laptop maker out there period. It might be lighter, but itll have coil wine and blue screen a month in. It might be powerful, but it'll look ugly as sin, have a terrible keyboard, and be built out of creeky plastic. It might look nice, but it'll be unreliable. You will get NOTHING of the likes of an apple device in the windows world, nothing will even come close. Given their target demographic (hip fashionable youngsters and old tech illiterate farts) and reputation, failing is obviously not an option, so everything they put out is rock solid and will last you many years, and you will most likely replace it only once its become outdated. The only brand you can actually trust is Apple. r/windows10 Please read the sidebar, and use this form when asking for advice :D Please do not ask for recommendations in mod-mail. #Best business laptops 2018 reddit modsThe mods have the discretion to remove any post or comment they believe to be disruptive, unhelpful, or otherwise detrimental, without warning or explanation.
